以下、その訳文と評価・英（原）文です。
レコードを一枚聞いた時点で既にダイレクトトレースの驚くべき属性を、聞き取れる。
これは本物、本格的な製品である、と。 3.4グラム（私が最初に測定した4.5グラムより少なく、3グラムの最低値よりも高い完全に任意の数）で、私は聞くことができるが、針の音(からの音？囁き？針やカンチレバー・ボディの共振音)は聞こえない。
明らかに非常に(レスポンスが)速い。全くオーバーハングはない。低音は轟くような響き（boom)になってから停止し、レコードのすべてをピックアップするので、忠実にすべてのチックticとポップpopを再現する。
ダイナミクスにも驚かされる。私が前に持っていたダイナベクターラディカル23Rにひけをとらないばかりか修復されたDecca C4eよりも幅と深さを、どの音域にも感じる。
狂おしくなるほどのbass imaging! 超低音ではそれもあることは知っていたが、それがモノに要約されている(明確なセンター定位)のに、全てミッドベースと残りのステレオフォニックイメージに繋がっている。私のシステムでは、いまだかつて手に入れることが出来なかった最大規模のコンサートホールの音だ。 言い換えるべきか、コンサートホールを感じさせる、と。
ダイレクトトレースを聞くための丁度良いアンプが手元にないので修正したJFETフォノステージにつないでみた。1セント位のメタルフィルム抵抗とプラスチックコンデンサをかませたところそれだけで(音が)明るくなった。
友人から適切なSUTと、球式フォノを借りよう。私のパッシブプリアンプだと最大限にラウドになるのでSUTがよければもっと相乗効果が出るだろう。誰だってこれをJEETフォノと組み合わせ用途は、考えないだろう。だから不適切なフォノステージを解剖分析的なシステムに使うと多少シンバルがはねつくだろうけどSPUの明るさとは違わないだろう。
バイオリンと金管 かなりフラットに留まり、SE-DHTだの、ホーンだのを好む彼らは何処かへ吹き飛ばされるはずだ。代わりに大型ESL連中にはシングルドライバーホーンとでナイスマッチとして映るだろう。チェロ、低音金管、ダブルベース、などがこんな音で鳴っていたはずだ。という音がするのだ。

It's a real product. At 3.4 grams (a totally arbitrary number that was less than the 4.5 grams I first measured, and a lot higher than the 3 gram minimum) it has no needle talk that I can hear. Obviously very fast. No overhang at ALL. Bass goes boom, then just stops Yes it picks up everything on the record, so it faithfully reproduces every tic and pop.
Dynamics are startling. Image width and depth are as good as I had with my radical Dynavector 23R and much better (in most areas) than my restored Decca C4e.
Crazy: bass imaging! I know that in the deep bass, it is summed to mono, but it is all connected to the midbass and the rest of the image. Biggest concert hall sound I've had in my system.
I don't have proper amplification for it. It's connected to a modified Jfet phono stage from China. Makes things brighter with all those shitty 1 cent metal film resistors and plastic caps. I'll borrow a proper SUT and tube phono from somebody. With my passive preamp maxed out, it is almost getting loud, so a good SUT should be more synergistic. Nobody is going to pair this with a jfet phono I bet.
So, with the wrong phono stage, in a VERY analytical and unforgiving system, it is a little splashy on cymbals, but not unlike the brightness of an SPU. Violins and brass stay fairly flat. You luddites should be blown away with your SEDHT, horns, etc. Alternatively, big ESL guys would find a nice match (and single driver horns). Cellos, low brass, double bass, yeah, that's what they're supposed to sound like.
It's mounted on a Groovemaster II Titanium version with silver wire (not a forgiving or dark arm material, and silver isn't dark either). Headshell is the Yamamoto HS3, which is only 8 grams. That combo was lighter than the Silver Meister SPU by 4 or 5 grams. Maybe a heavier headshell?
It has a .7 mil spherical tip, but other profiles can be fitted. There isn't much room to drop the back of the cartridge and it's damn hard to see without looking side on with a flashlight. A radical tip is unwise.
